Hello Fau bloggers:
Today I’would to talk about my favorite building, this is called “The Spiral” by Bjarke Ingels Group and the project is under construction.
“The Spiral” will be a new office tower, and it will be located on the northern end of the High Line at Hudson Boulevard Park in New York City, and climbing 306 meters, the tower's conceptual design is named after its defining feature - an "ascending ribbon of lively green spaces" that extend the High Line "to the sky," says Bjarke Ingels.

The spiral wraps around the tower, which becomes gradually slimmer towards the top. This create unique floor configurations that will cater to a diverse community of tenants making the building a lively place for businesses of different scales.
The first time I saw the building it was in a blog of conceptual designs, and I really liked, because combines the efficient layouts of the modern high-rise with the classic ziggurat silhouette of the premodern skyscraper, connected interior - exterior with a lively ribbon of atria and terrace, and offers sweeping views across Manhattan.
Another thing that caught my attention was the building will offer 2.87 million-square-feet of “connected and sustainable Class A”.

When the project is ready, I would to travel to New York and visit this amazing office tower!!

  1. the desicion to put green space program is very radical desicion, because the cost of investment is very high to get it. because the company will lose many profitability and lose many entry money xD
